Kathleen Smith

Kathleen is an associate attorney at Sage Counsel.  Kathleen received her Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California and her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.  While at Loyola, Kathleen focused primarily on family law and was a licensed student attorney with the Loyola Community Law Center.  Kathleen spent six years as in house General Counsel for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana before returning to family law with Sage Counsel. 


Kathleen believes in a client-centric approach to family law and that the best interests of the family should always be put first.  She brings a calm and reasonable approach to high-conflict situations and knows that each case requires a unique strategy and plan for execution.  Kathleen’s focuses her work on not only guiding a client through the process, but empowering him or her to move forward confidently following resolution of the matter.
